Fábio and Cibele lost their home and everything they owned in a devastating fire. Today, they are fighting to rebuild their lives from nothing.

When we met them and heard their story firsthand, we realized it would be impossible to simply walk away and forget everything they had shared with us.

The house they called home caught fire, and within a short time, everything they had spent years building disappeared in the flames.

Their clothes, personal belongings, precious memories, and nearly everything that made up their life together were destroyed. Fábio even lost all of his personal documents.

Without a home and without work, they were forced to search for a new opportunity far from everything they knew, carrying only the hope of finding employment and rebuilding a life with dignity.

Today, they struggle every day just to afford the essentials.

The reality Fábio and Cibele are facing is incredibly difficult.

Today, Fábio tries to earn a little money by selling candy at traffic lights. On good days, they manage to buy something to eat.

When sales are poor, they must ask for help or wait until restaurants distribute leftover food.

Fábio himself told us that whenever he makes a sale, he sets aside part of the money to buy more candy so he can continue trying to work.

When he can't sell anything, he goes door to door, explains the situation they are living through, and asks for help.

Even after everything they have endured, one thing deeply touched us: Fábio and Cibele have not lost their faith.

Throughout our conversation, they repeatedly thanked God for still being alive, for having their health, and for not having to sleep on the streets.

They could have given up.

But they keep fighting.

We witnessed their reality and decided to help.

After seeing Fábio and Cibele's situation firsthand, the DonDoo team purchased groceries and essential supplies to help them get through the month with a little more peace of mind.

We also gave Fábio a brand-new phone.

Until then, he didn't even have a phone of his own. This made it much harder to search for jobs, receive calls, communicate with potential employers, and begin rebuilding his life.

Seeing Fábio's happiness after receiving something so simple made us realize even more how difficult their situation truly is.

But we know that groceries and a phone are only the beginning.

Fábio and Cibele's lives still need to be rebuilt.

Their greatest dream is to have a home again.

After losing everything in the fire, the couple's greatest dream today is to once again have a safe place they can call home.

A place where they can sleep peacefully, store their belongings, prepare their own meals, and slowly rebuild the life they lost.
